Hello, I hold several electricity contracts at different premises. I have detected a serious and recurring error in your system relating to Fingrid Datahub synchronisation. Whenever a change is made to one of my contracts (e.g. a new fixed-term contract or a move), your system automatically overwrites the billing addresses and e-invoicing orders of my other valid contracts as well, using the details of the most recent event. As a result, the invoices are directed to wrong or empty dwellings without any contribution on my part. The original invoices fail to arrive, and they end up directly in debt collection by Ropo Suomi Oy. Under Article 5(1)(d) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the data controller has an absolute obligation to ensure that personal data is accurate and kept up to date. The erroneous automatic overwriting of address data carried out by your system directly violates this accuracy requirement. I demand that you: 1. Restore my official billing address to: [Your correct postal address]. 2. Lock my billing address in your system so that the automatic Datahub update cannot change it without authorisation. 3. Ensure that my e-invoicing order works correctly. Since the error is in your system, due to an impediment on the creditor's side I am not liable for the debt collection and reminder fees (the Consumer Protection Act and the Act on the Collection of Debts). I paid the principal amounts of the invoices immediately upon becoming aware of them. I will file an official report on the matter with the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority (KKV) and the Data Protection Ombudsman.
